S-Pass is one of many departments of Akzente Salzburg - social-profit organization, which promotes projects and services for young people at the regional and international level.
As a member of ECYA (European Youth Card Association) we develop the regional Youth Card “S-Pass” (35.000 cds) considering all pan-european aspects.
Our aim is to create a very useful tool for young people living in and traveling through Salzburg. We want to offer young people special access to transport, accommodation, leisure activities, culture, sport, services and benefits of whatever nature, which might contribute to their development, mobility and the improvement of the quality of their daily life.
Card's profile:
S-Pass offers discounts and benefits in about 500 places in Salzburg. The cardholders get regularly a lot of information about the new partners, the best discounts, games, or regional events via S-Pass NEWSletter, ULTIMO Salzburg’s youth magazine and Facebook. www.facebook.com/Jugendkarte
Three types of discount card available:
- S-Pass – the regional youth card: available for all young people living or studying in Salzburg, aged between 12-26:
- free of charge to all young people between 12-15 years,
- 14 EUR to all aged 15-17, valid until the last day before 17th birthday,
- 14 EUR to all up to 26, valid one year from the date of issue.
S-Pass is also recognized as a forgery-proof identity card (according to Protection of Young Persons Act).
- ÖBB VORTEILScard<26 – a combination of S-Pass and ÖBB VORTEILScard (Austrian railway discount card)– for young people between 15-26,
- the card costs 19,99 EUR and is valid for one year,
- it provides up to 50% discount on traveling by train.
- edu.card – a combination of S-Pass and school identity card, available only for students of several schools in Salzburg.
